Policies & Guidelines
If you ride with us, please remember:
Passenger Rules of Conduct
- No violence is allowed on any transit
vehicle or on transit property.
- Any violence perpetrated on a PAT
employee of any kind whether physical,
spitting, or threatening behavior,
the individual(s) will be prosecuted
to fullest extent of the law.
- No weapons of any kind are allowed.
- No usage of any alcoholic beverages
or illegal drugs are allowed.
- No fighting, mock fighting or physical
acts that can cause injury.
- No intimidating behavior, invasion
of personal space or threats of any
Kind is allowed.
- No eating or drinking on the bus,
and all drinks must be in a container
with a top or lid.
- No gas operated devices or car batteries
are allowed.
- Pay your fare if not using a fare card
have exact fare, no change is issued.
- Passengers should be at the needed
service stop
around 5 minutes before the arrival
of the bus, with all
personal belongings ready to board.
- No profanity is allowed, including loud
talking or mobile phone conversations
that volumes reach a level of disturbance
to other riders.
- Earphones or Headphones should be
used when playing music and the volume
should be kept to a personal level.
- Passengers are only allowed to ride a bus
line for (1) trip deboarding the bus at
or between the ends
of the service lines unless there is a
need to exit on
the opposite side of the street.
- Passengers must abide by the public
dress code wearing a shirt,
shoes, pants, skirt, shorts, and footwear
to use public transportation.
- No smoking of any kind is allowed,
which includes.
tobacco, marijuana or vapes.
- Passengers are restricted to (1) seat
per person, which includes no laying
in or across seats or
placing feet in bus seating or using
needed seats for shopping bags,
backpacks, luggage, or personal items.
- Passengers must move to available seating
whenever front seating is needed for
passengers with disabilities, wheelchairs,
or mobility devices.
- Passengers must keep the isle, and
doors clear of baby strollers, car seats,
baggage, groceries and
all personal items must stay contained
by the passenger.
- No usage of pesticides, perfumes or
aerosol sprays are prohibited.
- Passengers will be denied service
for hygiene in cases that can be a
health hazard to other patrons such
as soiled clothing, due to body fluids
or visible cuts or Injuries that are not
contained.
- Only service animals are allowed aboard
the bus without a container.
